As an only child, his parents constantly doted on him and allowed him to have his way, making him an entitled, narcissistic person who believes himself to be superior to others. This often results in him ordering others around like servants, as well as taking frequent trips outside of his gang's territory in order to pick fights. Despite his arrogant demeanour, Dorian is not weak or unintelligent. He is quite a powerful fighter, as well as rather calculating and resourceful when he wants to be - a set of skills developed out of a desire to step out of his parents' shadows. This, paired with his reputation and status, has resulted in Dorian becoming a feared individual both among his gang and the people who live within their territory. His quick temper and low tolerance for incompetence make it difficult for others to remain on his good side, and even harder for them to serve under him without being reduced to an object of scorn or ridicule. Not only that, but he has a tendency to hold grudges against those who wrong him; particularly those who damage his fragile ego. However, despite his cruel and haughty demeanour, Dorian is still capable of feeling empathy for the rare few that he cares about. If someone can manage to earn his respect and loyalty, Dorian is very devoted and protective, and will stop at nothing to secure the love or approval of the person in question. He tends to be fairly narcissistic in how he goes about earning their affection, however, often flaunting himself in hopes of gaining positive attention, and expressing jealousy towards those who may end up usurping his 'throne' as someone's favourite. Additionally, although Dorian is largely self-centred and shallow, he does have some sense of integrity - he prides himself on being a man of his word, and will go out of his way to fulfil any obligations or promises that he makes, even if they are made without the intention of following through. This extends even to those he considers enemies or rivals, so long as it suits his purposes. While Dorian often sends his underlings to do his dirty work for him, he has no qualms about getting involved in messy situations himself, and is a skilled combatant with both knives and bare fists. In fact, Dorian actually prefers the thrill of close-range fighting, despite his usually nonchalant attitude towards most things. That being said, he often prefers to end fights as quickly as possible - he hates unnecessary suffering, whether incurred by him or his opponent. As such, he usually goes straight for the kill when he feels that the battle is dragging on for too long, preferring efficiency over sadism (despite never passing up the opportunity to gloat over a win).
