FAQ

Is Eva Chat only available on iOS?▼
No. Eva Chat (now listed as EVA AI Soulmate) has native apps for iPhone and Android. The App Store lists it as iPhone-only rather than an iPad app, and the official site links only to the App Store and Google Play rather than a web version.
What does Eva Chat Premium include?▼
EVA AI doesn't publish a fixed Premium feature list: its Terms say the exact benefits are defined during the subscription process and that anything not explicitly included in Premium costs extra. On the US App Store, memberships are listed at $11.99–$24.99 per month, $20.99 for 3 months and $47.99 for 12 months; the Terms say prices vary by region and subscription length. Neurons for romantic messages and virtual gifts are sold separately.
Can I try Eva Chat before paying?▼
Yes. The app is free to download, and the free Basic tier gives you limited access before upgrading to Premium.
Does Eva Chat support NSFW or adult content?▼
EVA AI is rated 18+ on the App Store and its Terms require users to be at least 18, but the same Terms prohibit using it to generate sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult-themed content. Romantic messages are part of the app (unlocked with Neurons), but explicit NSFW content is limited compared to uncensored web platforms.
Does Eva Chat remember past conversations?▼
Yes, that is part of the pitch. EVA AI says its characters remember the little things and that you build closeness through personal moments and shared memories, and its privacy policy says facts you share about your life are used to personalize conversations. It does not publish how memory differs between the free Basic tier and Premium.
How does Eva Chat compare to Replika?▼
Both focus on emotional AI companionship, but Eva Chat offers a more polished app-first experience while Replika is available on more platforms, including a web app. Replika has deeper memory systems and 3D avatars; Eva Chat focuses on conversation quality and emotional intelligence, with voice chat and video calls where available. Try both free tiers to see which conversation style resonates with you.
Does Eva Chat have image generation?▼
Partly. EVA AI's store listing doesn't advertise an image generator, but its Terms say the service may generate content, including images, using AI based on your input, the character creator lets you set your companion's look (gender, age, ethnicity, hair), and character profiles include a Media tab with photos and video clips. If a full image generator is important to you, consider web-based platforms like Candy AI, SweetDream, or Nectar AI which offer image generation alongside chat.
Is Eva Chat appropriate for all ages?▼
No. EVA AI is rated 18+ on the App Store and Mature 17+ on Google Play, and its Terms require users to be at least 18. The Terms also prohibit sexually explicit content, so it is not designed as an NSFW platform.
How is the mobile experience compared to web platforms?▼
Eva Chat's native iOS and Android apps give it a significant advantage over web-based competitors on mobile. Launch times, animations, keyboard integration, and push notifications all benefit from native development. Web platforms accessed through mobile Safari or Chrome generally feel less polished.
Is my data private on Eva Chat?▼
Review EVA AI's privacy policy (linked from its App Store and Google Play listings) for specifics on data handling. The data controller is Novi Limited in Nicosia, Cyprus, and the App Store privacy label says identifiers and usage data may be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites; on iPhone you can limit this with App Tracking Transparency. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information with any AI companion platform.

Our Verdict

Eva Chat excels as a native mobile AI girlfriend for users who prioritize realistic conversation and emotional connection over visual content. The 4.3/5 App Store rating across roughly 25K ratings reflects genuine user satisfaction with the conversational quality and native app polish. Where it falls short is breadth — no advertised image generator, limited NSFW options (its Terms prohibit sexually explicit content), and a separate Neuron currency for romantic messages and gifts. With US App Store memberships listed from $11.99/month and at $47.99 for 12 months, it is mid-range for the category and worth the price if emotional AI chat on your phone is your primary use case.
