Overview

Infinite Worlds is a browser-based adventure game from Friendly Fox Games; its developer says it began as a solo hobby project. Each action you type is sent to an AI model together with the story so far, and the AI decides what happens next; a separate image model adds illustrations to the story.

The game emphasises freedom: you can attempt anything, though your character may fail. It also puts world-building front and centre, letting players create adventures with their own mechanics, backstories and established characters, or let the AI improvise, and then share those worlds with others.

New players start with free turns; after that, play runs on purchased credits, and the game's own messages mention a small daily allowance of free turns for players who create an account. Sharing worlds earns bonus credits, which the FAQ says can be cashed out via PayPal once you hold 50,000. The game is for adults only: mature content is an opt-in setting, and user-made NSFW worlds stay hidden unless you switch them on.

Who it suits

Good fit if

  • +Fans of choose-your-own-adventure games and interactive fiction
  • +Writers who want to build and share their own story worlds
  • +Players who prefer pay-as-you-go credits to a subscription

Watch out for

  • −Credit pack prices are not on a public pricing page; they appear in the game's Add credits menu. The game describes a credit as roughly 0.1 cents of AI usage and says turn costs vary a lot with the AI model and the adventure; creating a world costs 50 credits and each extra image 3.5 credits.
  • −Credit purchases cannot be refunded, according to the terms.
  • −Adult content is possible once you enable mature content. The site warns that user-made NSFW worlds are not moderated by the developer and that illustrations may occasionally include nudity with mature content on; the terms also say the AI can produce inappropriate or offensive content.
  • −It is a story game rather than a dedicated companion app, and it runs in the browser; the site does not mention iOS or Android apps.

Before you sign up

  • ✓Confirm the official domain for InfiniteWorlds at checkout — typosquat landing pages are common in this niche and can redirect a card payment in seconds.
  • ✓Read the privacy policy specifically for how chats, images, and account data are retained, exported, and deleted before you share anything sensitive.
  • ✓Check the per-day or per-month image-generation cap on each tier and whether upscaling / private generations are gated to the top plan.
  • ✓Test voice latency and accent quality in the free or entry tier; voice minutes are usually the first thing throttled on cheaper plans.
  • ✓Try building one character in the creator before subscribing — depth of personality controls varies wildly between vendors.
  • ✓Ask support (or check the FAQ) how memory persistence works across sessions and whether it resets after a plan change.

Frequently asked questions

Is Infinite Worlds free?
New players get a number of free turns, and the game's messages say players who create an account also get a few free turns each day, depending on the AI model. Beyond that you buy credit packs, which the in-game menu lists from $2.00 for 2,000 credits up to $50.00 for 58,000 credits; the terms say purchases are non-refundable.
Why does Infinite Worlds cost money?
The FAQ explains that every turn calls high-end AI models for text and images, and that nearly all the money from credit sales goes on paying for that computing.
How do bonus credits work?
If a player starts a world through your share link, the FAQ says you get 3% of everything they spend, plus 5% of what they spend on that world (10% if you made it); a creator whose world someone else shares also gets 5%. Balances of 50,000 or more can be exchanged at $50 per 50,000 credits via PayPal.
Can I create my own world?
Yes. You can build adventures with your own mechanics, backstories and characters, or leave the details to the AI, and share them with other players.
Is Infinite Worlds for adults only?
Yes. New players confirm they are 18 or older before playing, and the terms set 18 as the minimum age. Mature content is an opt-in account setting, and NSFW community worlds, which the site says it does not moderate, are hidden unless you choose to show them.
