Overview

FreeGF AI is a web platform for chatting with AI girlfriend and boyfriend characters and for generating adult images and short videos. It pitches itself as free to start: the site says you can open a guest session without an account or a card, and that new sign-ups receive 5 credits.

Beyond chat, the site bundles several creation tools: a media suite it calls GF Dreamer (text-to-image, image-to-image, text-to-video and image-to-video), an AI character creator, a prompt-based image editor that accepts uploaded photos, and separate AI undressing ("Nudify") and head/face-swap tools that also work on uploaded images. Almost everything is paid for in credits, and the About page and the GF Dreamer FAQ quote different per-item costs.

The site describes the product as a browser app and mentions no iOS or Android download; the GF Dreamer FAQ says it works on smartphones and tablets. It is aimed squarely at adults, labels its NSFW tools 18+ only, and publishes a content moderation policy, a privacy policy and a refund policy.

Who it suits

Good fit if

+Adults who want to try NSFW AI girlfriend chat before creating an account
+People who want chat, image and video generation in one web app
+Users who would rather buy credits as needed than pay a monthly subscription, and who want a written refund policy

Watch out for

−Credits are spent on almost everything: the About page lists 1 credit per chat message (no charge with an unlimited-chat pack, per the llms.txt summary), 4 per image, 8 per new character and 35 per 5-second video. GF Dreamer lists its own, higher rates, and the Nudify and face-swap tools cost 15 credits each, with free image credits not usable on them.
−Check the data retention terms: the marketing pages stress that chats are encrypted and private, but the privacy policy says NSFW chat logs are kept for 2 years, generated images and videos for a year from creation unless the account is deleted sooner, and payment records for 7 years.
−Several tools take uploaded photos (the image editor, Nudify and head/face swap), and the Nudify and face-swap pages carry no consent reminder of their own. Creating or sharing sexual images of a real person without their consent is illegal in many countries (for example under the US TAKE IT DOWN Act and the UK Online Safety Act) and can cause serious harm. The site's content policy bans real-person deepfakes made without consent; only use images you own that show consenting adults.
−Purchased credits expire 30 days after purchase if unused, according to the FAQ on the /credits page (free sign-up credits and spin-wheel rewards are exempt). The pack list there appears only after sign-in, and the site's pages disagree on unlimited chat: the About page says the $10 pack includes 30 days of it, while the /credits pack list adds unlimited chat and voice only from the $24 pack up. It is explicit adult content for 18+ only, and browser-only with no app download mentioned.

Before you sign up

✓Confirm the official domain for FreeGF AI at checkout — typosquat landing pages are common in this niche and can redirect a card payment in seconds.
✓Read the privacy policy specifically for how chats, images, and account data are retained, exported, and deleted before you share anything sensitive.
✓Check the per-day or per-month image-generation cap on each tier and whether upscaling / private generations are gated to the top plan.
✓Test voice latency and accent quality in the free or entry tier; voice minutes are usually the first thing throttled on cheaper plans.
✓Try building one character in the creator before subscribing — depth of personality controls varies wildly between vendors.
✓Verify the moderation filter controls and age-gating — adult companion platforms differ a lot in how aggressively content is filtered.
