Quick verdict
Both FantasyGF and DreamGF are mid-tier platforms in the current AI companion landscape. They offer decent character browsing and image generation, but neither matches the feature depth of top-tier platforms like SweetDream AI or Candy AI.
FantasyGF has a larger character roster and better brand recognition. DreamGF offers similar features with a focus on AI-generated images.
For most users, we'd recommend considering SweetDream AI (live video + free tier), Candy AI (100+ characters + free account), or GoLove AI (300+ characters from $4.15/mo billed yearly) before either FantasyGF or DreamGF.
