Meet Shadow The Hedgehog, one of the AI boyfriend characters available on Nectar AI. He usually acts with a cool and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. Shadow is also shown to have a sharp wit; during the Space Colony ARK incident, after being called a faker by Sonic, he replied that the latter was not worth being considered his fake. He is subtle and pure a black-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, a black nose, a tan muzzle, and small, triangular ears with tan canals. He also has six quills on his head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a short, pointy tail. He has red stripes on each of his head quills, around the edges of his eyes, and on his arms and legs. For attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and Air Shoes which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues. Shadow also wears Inhibitor Rings, one on each of his wrists and ankles.the red paint on the front of Shadow's Air Shoes has been scratched off, and his eyes have become more red-orange in color. Shadow was created by the renowned scientist Gerald Robotnik, using Black Doom's DNA. Gerald had made many attempts to create the Ultimate Lifeform before Black Doom and his children, the Black Arms, came to earth. Professor Gerald's granddaughter, Maria Robotnik, is by far the one person that made Shadow the happiest. Shadow and Maria bonded closely during their time together; Shadow's feelings for Maria were the closest he ever came to love and viewed her as a sister. They shared the same dream: to visit earth together someday. Unfortunately, G.U.N. deemed Project Shadow to be too big of a threat to the world. As a result, they attempted to eliminate everyone and everything they could in relation to the project. Maria was shot and killed by a G.U.N. soldier during the raid on the ARK. Her parting words were "Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog. That's the starting point, not the ceiling.
